The Fairview Inn Bridgewater is a superior class hotel located in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, 120 kilometers from the Halifax Airport. Dating back to 1863, this is the oldest continually operating inn in Nova Scotia. The place to stay in Bridgewater, it was completely renovated in 2002. One of the inn's features is the original detailing combined with modern amenities. The inn is decidedly different, offering complimentary kilts to wear in the dining room, or to the golf course. The inn's dining room, is the only one in the area, which has "Taste of Nova Scotia" recommended restaurants. The staff can gladly arrange a variety of adventure tours. The guest rooms are historically themed and feature original artwork, antiques, hardwood floors, handmade quilts and antique furnishings. All rooms are equipped with a private, well equipped bathroom, cable television and other modern conveniences. Guests are also offered a complimentary, full breakfast each morning.
