Golden Sands Hotel : Description

The Golden Sands is a modern hotel with sea views situated on the beach promenade in the centre of St Brelade's Bay, just two miles from Jersey Airport. The 62 guestrooms have traditional style decor, dark blue carpets, and coordinating patterned fabrics. All sea view rooms have South facing balconies, while standard amenities include coffee and tea making facilities, satellite television, direct dial phones and bathrooms with bath tubs or showers, toiletries and hair dryers. Guests can enjoy a coffee in the lounge or a cocktail in the bar; both have pretty sea views. In the restaurant guests can enjoy dishes from a daily changing table d'hote and a seasonal à la carte menu. Guests can enjoy seafood specialities, and all dishes incorporate fresh local produce. An early children's dinner is available, and there is a supervised play room so parents can relax and dine in peace. At the bar light meals are available all day and are served with views of St Brelade's Bay. Alternatively guests can take advantage of 24 hour room service. For a fee, guests can use the facilities at the nearby Les Quennevais fitness centre. Free parking is available for those arriving by car and a complimentary minibus service runs to St Helier. Other local points of interest include Sir Winston Churchill Park, Noirmont Point, the Corbiere Lighthouse, Jersey War Tunnels and Living Legend can all be found within three miles. Jersey Airport is approximately two miles and a 10 minute drive from the hotel.
