Finca Es Castell : Description

At the foot of the Sierra de Tramuntana Mountains, the Finca Es Castell is an intimate farm hotel which has been in the same family since the 15th century and the building dates back to the 11th century. Guestrooms are decorated in a traditional Mallorcan style with whitewashed walls, tiled floors and exposed ceiling beams. All 12 rooms feature bathrobes, hair dryers, and modern bathrooms with complimentary toiletries. Good food and fresh produce is central to this hotel. The informal dining room, decorated with potted plants, candles and fresh fruit, serves produce from the farm's own grounds. Guests can also take their meals on the alfresco terrace or the roof terrace, which boasts a spectacular view. Then guests can work it all off in the outdoor swimming pool or drive the 20 kilometers to the beaches at Pollença and Alcudia. Alternatively, the picturesque historic villages of Caimari, Selva and Moscari are all five kilometers in different directions. Inca, which is famous for its high quality leather goods, is just 10 kilometers away. The hotel is 45 kilometers from Palma de Mallorca Airport. A hire car or taxi is recommended from the airport to the hotel. Complimentary parking is provided for all guests.
