Riu Monica Hotel : Description

The Riu Monica is an imposing seven storey complex on the eastern tip of Malaga's Costa del Sol, separated from the bay by a promenade lined with bars, restaurants and shops. Located 800 meters from the center of the town of Nerja and its famous caves and cliff top boulevard, the beach opposite is one of the many which account for the town's 16 kilometers of sandy shoreline. Guests can take in views of the Mediterranean and the misty blue mountains which flank the hotel on either side from spacious, air conditioned rooms kitted out with fitted carpets, mahogany furnishings and fully equipped bathrooms. An onsite masseuse offers guests a range of treatments; more relaxation is to be had in the outdoor solarium, where two swimming pools and a snack bar look out across 3,000 square meters of lush gardens. A bus stop 50 meters from the hotel's front door serves all local attractions, including two of Nerja's most celebrated the Balcony of Europe (a high walkway offering sweeping views of the sea and cliffs, and the prehistoric caves. Golf and watersports enthusiasts are well catered for in the hotel's locality. A taxi from Malaga airport to the hotel steps costs around 60 euro.
