Ipanema Porto : Description

The Ipanema Porto is a modern ten story hotel, serviced by an elevator, situated in the main business district Boavista, three kilometers from the historical center of Porto, with shops and entertainment nearby. The 150 air conditioned guestrooms enjoy simple neutral décor with modern furniture. All are equipped with cable television with pay movies, minibars and wireless Internet connections. Guests can wine and dine in Rio's Restaurant, open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner, specializing in buffets comprised of traditional specialties and international dishes, including Brazilian Bean Stew and a range of Portuguese style meats. Guests can enjoy sea and sun at the the beach of Foz do Duoro less than one kilometer away, or visit the Port wine cellars five kilometers away. The hotel is approximately 16 kilometers, a twenty minute drive from Porto Airport. The Aerobus provides a fast connection between the airport, the city's main hotels and downtown Porto. Regular buses, including lines no.56 and 87, also serve the city. The hotel can arrange a bus service from the airport however it needs to be booked a day in advance. Taxis are also available outside the airport.
